Who we are

Maphio is operated by MaphioAI, based in the United Kingdom. For your account data we are the data controller. For the content of your workspace — including information about the people in your business — your organisation is the controller and we are its processor.

What we collect

• Account data: name, email, sign-in identifiers, plan and billing status.
• Workspace content: the processes you map, documents you upload, and descriptions you provide. This may include names, roles, and working practices of people in your organisation.
• Interview data: when your organisation invites someone to a Maphio interview, we record the conversation, attributed to that person, only after they see a consent notice and accept. Participants can stop at any time.
• Usage data: basic logs needed to run and secure the service.

Where it lives

Your workspace data is stored in Google Cloud (Firestore and Cloud Storage) in London, United Kingdom (europe-west2). The application itself runs on Google infrastructure in the EU.

AI processing

Maphio uses Anthropic's Claude models to structure the knowledge you provide and to generate suggestions. Content you submit for processing is sent to Anthropic under a data processing agreement; Anthropic does not train its models on this data. AI outputs are suggestions reviewed by your team — Maphio never acts on your business autonomously.

Who we share with (sub-processors)

• Google Cloud / Firebase — hosting, database, storage, authentication
• Anthropic — AI processing (as above)
• RevenueCat and Stripe — subscriptions and payments (we never see full card details)
• Zoho — transactional email delivery

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your workspace content for advertising.

How long we keep it

Workspace content is kept while your workspace is active. If you delete content, or close your account, it is removed from live systems promptly and from backups on their normal cycle. Interview recordings can be deleted on request by your organisation while derived, reviewed knowledge may remain part of the workspace map under your organisation's control.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). For data inside an organisation's workspace (for example, an interview you gave), direct your request to that organisation — we'll support them in honouring it. Otherwise contact info@maphioai.com.

Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and the product working. No advertising trackers.
