Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026 · MaphioAI, United Kingdom

A note while we're getting started: MaphioAI is not yet an incorporated company. These terms are offered by the individual(s) operating Maphio and will be re-issued under the registered company once incorporated.

1. The service

Maphio helps organisations map, keep, and improve knowledge about how they work. By creating an account or accepting an invitation you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, your organisation.

2. Your content

It's yours. Your organisation owns the content of its workspace — processes, documents, interview transcripts, and the map built from them. You grant us the licence needed to host and process that content to provide the service, and nothing more. You can export or delete it at any time.

You're responsible for having the right to share what you upload, and for telling the people in your business what your workspace records about them. Interview participants always see their own consent notice first.

3. AI outputs

Maphio uses AI to structure knowledge and suggest improvements. Suggestions — including automation recommendations, savings estimates, and tool ideas — are informed guidance, not professional advice. Verify before acting; decisions about your business remain yours. We work hard on honesty (including telling you when nothing fits) but we don't warrant that AI output is complete or correct.

4. Plans and payment

Free and paid plans differ by limits (workspaces, seats, monthly captures and analyses). Payments are handled by RevenueCat/Stripe; subscriptions renew until cancelled, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. If a payment fails or a subscription lapses, your workspace drops to the free plan — your data is not deleted.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Maphio to break the law, infringe others' rights, probe or disrupt the service, or process data you have no right to process. Don't misrepresent who an interview invitation is from. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other customers at risk.

6. Our stuff

The Maphio platform, its knowledge base of patterns and playbooks, and its brand remain ours. Recommendations delivered into your workspace are yours to use in running your business.

7. Liability

We provide Maphio with reasonable skill and care, but the service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid us in that period, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Ending things

You can close your account at any time. We can terminate for material breach with notice. On closure you may export your workspace; we then delete it per the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms with reasonable notice for material changes. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
